R. Swanson Construction Inc. has been a family owned and operated business since 1980.

Bob and Nancy are a dedicated team of building professionals delivering value and service to everyone of our business projects. We want you to know we are building experts on new homes and residential/commercial remodeling. We are builders of three world class recording studios. We are members of the Builders and Remodelors Association of the Twin Cities, the National Association of Home Builders and Remodelor Council, and members of the Better Business Bureau of Minnesota and we are also an Energy Star Builder.

The projects we design and build incorporate each clients own ideas, personalities and dreams. We know it takes not only the highest levels of experience, quality, workmanship, service and design to make a home special, but also a personal touch.

We employ a staff of loyal employees and have nurtured strong professional relationships with a core group of subcontractors over the years.

ENERGY STAR qualified homes are at least 15 percent more energy efficient than homes built to the 2004 International Residential Code (IRC).

ENERGY STAR qualified homes achieve energy savings through established, reliable building technologies. Builders work with Home Energy Raters to select from a number of features when planning and building homes.

The Builders Association of the Twin Cities was founded in 1948 by a small group of builders. Their goal was to increase the professionalism and quality of the homebuilding industry.

Over the years the association has grown to include builders, remodelers, sub-contractors, suppliers, and other professionals who support the building industry. Members subscribe to a defined code of ethics, and all of our builders conform to Minimum Performance Standards for construction and business practices. All builder and remodeler members are licensed through the state of Minnesota and must comply with the rules, regulations, and continuing education requirements set by state statute.

NAHB is a trade association that helps promote the policies that make housing a national priority. Since 1942, NAHB has been serving its members, the housing industry, and the public at large.
